This says his cause of death was stomach-intestinal-cancer and heart
weakness, Heart failure I guess. (German: akutes Magen-Darm-Karzinom, Herzschwäche ).

While being interviewed, Ilse says in a recording he died of food poisoning. Expanded when questioned on the phone by Bill Beck, "Ilse said Moses Vogel died 24 hours after eating fish in a kosher restaurant in Vienna." (NOTE: This seemingly contradicts the death certificate which says he died in the Weiner Neustadt hospital, not in Vienna.)

There are reports that Margit Beck, Moses Vogel's daughter, said that he had committed suicide.
