Narrative
The photo was probably sent from Frieda vacationing in Wildbad to her sister Regina in New York. There are places in both Germany and Austria called Wildbad, but there is also at least one hotel called Wildbad, so it is unknown where the picture was taken. The assumption that the card was sent to Regina is based only on the fact that the photo came from her grandson, Charlie.
Interestingly, the text Frieda wrote on the back is in German. So this indicates German was the language that Frieda and Regina were comfortable communicating in.
